CONFIRMING YOUR RESERVATION – We receive your inguiry either through our website or an outside agent. We will notify you by e-mai if your reservation dates are available. If available and you desire to reserve these dates we require a rental deposit of 50% if your arrival is more than 60 days out. 60 days prior to your arrival your balance is due in full. Payments can be made by credit card through PayPal or wired directly to our bank account. A Paypal money request or wiring instructions can be e-mailed upon request.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY – If your reservation arrival is 90 days out or more and you cancel your reservation a refund will be issued to you with one day of your rental fee deducted from your deposit refund. If your cancellation is between 89 and 60 days out, you will be issued a 50% refund on your deposit. If your cancellation is 60 days or less prior to your reservation we offer no refund of your deposit or reservation fees unless we can rebook your dates. Vacation insurance policies are available through various insurance agencies which cover your costs should your need to cancel your reservation due to unforseen circumstances.
OCCUPANCY – Casa de las Palmas comfortably sleeps 5 people in the main house, 4 n the apartment and 2 in the single room. During your reservation process you will be ask to list the number in your party. At no time can more than the above mentioned number of persons stay in each quarter without prior permission from the owners. If the number of people changes we must be notified by e-mail. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if more than the above mentioned persons reside on the property without permission.
CHILDREN – Casa de las Palmas has several design elements such as stairs and balconies that could be potentially dangerous to small children. So it is important that children be supervised at all times. The renter agrees to be responsible for the health, safety, and damages associated with their children.
PETS – No pets are permitted without the owners permission prior to your reservation.
SMOKING – No indoor smoking is allowed.
SECURITY & PERSONAL PROPERTY – To insure the safety of all guests and their possessions,, you are asked to lock the entrance doors to your quarters and the entrance doors to the property whenever you leave the property. Casa de las Plamas assumes no responsibility for the loss of any personal items. We are happy to say we have never had any problem with theft.
DAMAGE/KEY DEPOSIT – A refundable key/damage deposit is collected at the time of your reservation. It will be refunded no more than 15 days after your departure.assuming no damage has been reported.
LIABILITY, TERMS & CONDITIONS – These terms and conditions form a contract between the owners of Casa de las Palmas and the renters of Casa de las Palmas. Payment of your deposit is deemed as full and final acceptance of the terms and conditions of booking a reservation with Casa de las Palmas. By booking a reservation with Casa de las Palmas you agree to indemnify the owners, agents, and employees of Casa de las Palmas against any claims of liability for loss of personal property, personal injury or death or any claim whatsoever resulting from your residence or your guests residence at Casa de las Palmas.
